Their, I believe.
Hyped for March. My wife and I were blown away by the performance at Glastonbury. Radical romantics is on heavy rotation at our gaff ever since.
that makes sense, I’ll do better
Anyone going to see Fever Ray at Bristol Beacon on 29/02?
Despite having and liking one of Knife’s records, I’ve somehow missed Fever Ray until that new Shiver video autoplayed on the tube. Good stuff.
Giving the Passengers live show a listen now.
Going to the London gig a few days after, can’t wait!
Saw fever ray at an electronic festival in Brighton like 15 or so years ago (jesus). it remains the best gig I’ve ever been to. Karin came out looking like captain caveman, covered head to toe in fur and moss. The atmosphere was religious in the best sense. I spoke to karin in the Japanese restaurant across the road for a bit which made me feel v starstruck. just an Insanely creative artist.
i think i was there! loop festival or something? it was unbelievable. not seen them since. but am going to the gig in manchester 1st march
Thats it! The xx were playing in the next room. If you were the mysterious guy that shoved a big bump of something in my direction. Thanks.
Haha! I’ll take the credit on his behalf
“We would play all kinds of jazz,” he says. “That jazz way of thinking, the freedom and confidence to be a bit outside the box, has stuck with me when it comes to making songs.”
…there is more to come: Dreijer is now following up the EP with another 12-inch record of electronic experimentation, Coral: three tracks of shuddering basslines, intricate percussion and meditative, ambient harmony.
I‘ve been to the Fever Ray show in Paris on Monday. I wish I had not blocked all info on the show before because I was afraid of spoilers. The way people talk about the show made me expect something completely different from any show I‘ve ever seen.
While it’s certainly special, it’s still a live show that won’t completely surprise you if you’ve been to a concert before. I think I would have enjoyed the show more if I went into it with that mindset. It took me about half of the concert to appreciate for what it is.
I went to the show in London on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well the beer may have helped
If I’m nit-picking then it almost felt too choreographed, too slick and lacking …… danger(?) …… I dunno. Crowd was awesome
Going this Sunday to see them in Stockholm, my girlfriend is a native Stockholmer, big fan of The Knife and Fever Ray but never been to one of their shows so it was the perfect Christmas gift when I saw it on sale
I’m pretty damn excited to see them again after last summer’s show, but in that one I was more excited to see Richard D. James do his thing when he played right after Fever Ray
