Favorite Lyricists in Electronic Music

Listen, nobody needs good lyrics (or ANY lyrics) to write a good song. I just like them, and I feel like they go under-celebrated in electronic music.

Neil Tennant and Vince Clarke. Actually, probably not my faves, but definitely above top shelf, and better than my favourites like Numan, John foxx.

Tape loops and studio trickery were considered “electronic music” in that era. And it doesn’t get more electronic than George’s Moog. So yes, I agree. They could be considered an electronic band. :slightly_smiling_face:

I agree. Nivek Ogre’s Stream of Conciousness was also great. And I really like Genesis P-Orridge’s voice and lyrics.
