Agreed with @Scot_Solida … Edward Ka-Spel (Legendary Pink Dots, Tear Garden) is probably the greatest for me, up there with Leonard Cohen.
Nivek Ogre’s lyrics are often obscured by processing and the sheer power of his delivery, but has written some incredible lyrics over the years IMO.
