Hell yeah. My favs:
That whole song is pretty much one 9 minute guitar solo…
This! That whole album is full of amazing solos. This song in particular is crazy:
Chimera Guitar Playthrough - Polyphia
This song has a killer solo around 2:04.
I love the solo in this song. It’s just so fun. 2:07 or so.
Mike Bloomfield shreds.
So does Elvin Bishop.
I learned how to play air guitar as a kid to this song.
Top 5 guitar solo, easy:
Professor Black giving an informal history of metal in two solos (2:15-4:50, 5:15-end)
If I wind up in a place where there is only one guitar player to listen to ever, I will know I’ve died and gone to hell. But if it had to be so, it’d be Bill Frisell, hands down.
Playing drums here is the absolute master, Jim Keltner sounding like some mythological creature…
One of the greatest album closers of all time
At one point last year I was walking past the Jackie Robinson Tennis Courts on Utica Avenue in Bed-Stuy and a group of elderly people were arranged in lines on one of the courts, doing slow taichi while a boombox in front was playing this guitar solo. I just stopped to watch and marvel. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that.
Dueling solos cant be beat
Robert Quine killed it on this Scritti track. His wild, nearly out of control style juxtaposed quite nicely with the slick production
Green’s not a bad guitar soloist himself
Dimebag is untouchable. Rip
lots of great stuff here, also I agree with the sentiment, good solos are the shit!
Dimebag is one of the best! now let’s spam some stuff…
Petrucci deserves 2 videos just because
How 'bout some legend with a guitar - Hendrix
and another one, Larry Coryell
not the typical solos but it is to my ears, some SY noise magic
meh.
