This (which I am still reading, and don’t really understand) suggests that everything in the universe is an oscillator. I assume analog. Seems like it should be of at least peripheral interest to those who make music, especially certain types of music.
Isn’t there a theory that the more the universe expands (the older it gets) the less it oscillates and that they have been able to detect waveforms that came from the Big Bang by determining how much they oscillate. I.e high oscillation = waveform dating back to Big Bang. Low oscillation = waveform dating to the expanded universe.
And I think the conclusion was that by measuring the oscillation of waveforms they could prove that the expanding universe theory is in fact correct…
I’m only a laymen so I could have misinterpreted it all.
«i’m resonating, therefore i am».
Very good read on the CIA’s assessment of this and humans ability to use this interconnected frequency to remote view and achieve inner peace. It’s called the gateway process. I’ll post the 25th page later today.
“CIA” and “inner peace” in the same sentence must be the epitome of an oxymoron. The aim of this attempted analysis of meditation, hypnosis etc was without doubt nefarious.
Ugh - that clip cut off the best part “and here’s Tom with the weather.” Hicks is still great.
Oscillator could indeed be the case. The complete quantum mechanics in physics is about oscillators. This would cover from atoms to sub-atomic structures the entire universe.
Using the term “analogue” in this context could be misleading. For many of us analogue would be something continuous like an evolving “analogue” contol voltage, or the sound of a wave running up the beach.
But the truth seems to be that everything is quantized, because every molecule and every atom consists of quantized states. For me analogue is only a perception, which is generated by our brains …
String Theory and Vibrations - dummies.
In string theory matter is the result of vibrations of tiny strings at certain fundamental frequencies.
The hippies might have had it right all along!
Though I very much do not buy into the ESP/telekinesis/A432 mumbo jumbo that they usually tack on lol
For what it’s worth, Nikola Tesla opined that the Earth is a transistor and can be used as a component in an interstellar radio. NASA astronauts have said the moon rings like a bell.
Yes we are capable of resonating. This becomes a rabbit hole in a hurry when one begins to look into it. The perfect harmonic interval for earth is around 7.8hz, as it turns out, that happens to be the phi for humans as well. Resonance can be used to heal as well as cause harm.
“By adjusting the tension of the strings God, the Great Tuner, can determine the density of all things”
Robert Fludd, Utriusque Cosmi, I, Oppenheim, 1617.
I loved him over 30 years ago. He was the best of the best and dared to go where others feared.
And cut the mould for a lot of modern comedy that we see today so he lives on…
“Our lives are like the wind… or like sounds.
We come into being, resonate with each other…
Then fade away”
Nausicaa from Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind
Sound is in principle vibration, but yeah, so is everything. The universe is a massive mystery. What gives everything its momentum? Why does everything oscillate anyway? Even dead cells are made up of particles that oscillate. (Watts - “Rocks are not Dead” - one of my favourite quotes).
To me, the universe is life, through and through. It’s tempting for humans to ask why, but maybe the universe isn’t a why or a how, it’s just an is. It’s a massive, wonderful, complex scenario that is so thrilling to witness everyday, imo.
I’m personally of the opinion that identity and life isn’t owned, a body is just a window through which consciousness experiences the world (and as in Hicks, subjectively), which is infinite and omnipresent.
Schumanns resonances. Check them out:

It used to be 7,83 Hz Ground frequency. Now since a few days it’s around 30 Hz.
They’ve just overclocked the CPU for running our simulation?
I thought this was a new Eurorack module
It’s roots are positive regardless of what the cia used it for. @SoundRider the oscillation originates from the Planck. There’s a reason the swastica was universal, it’s symbology of the ancient knowledge stemming from this very topic. Too bad it was perverted in WWII
Tesla had the same idea of verything ‘having a frequency’.
In engineering we speak of the ‘natural frequency’ of a body. If you stimulate vibration in that frequency the body starts to resonate.
A very prominent example is a bridge that is stimulated by soldiers walking at the natural frequency of bridge making it swing. When resonance is strong enough it can break.
But I find Teslas example of humans having frequencies even more fascinating. Stating that you like people around your personal frequency better and that you and other can change your frequency. That you function better, your mind is faster when you raise your frequency.
