He’s showing some incredible sounds and functions that the Perkons can do but I just want to say that it’s possible to use this as a more traditional drum machine as well.

Is there a way to control the tuning of each channel/sound by midi? It’d be great to be able to play them with a keyboard.
I haven’t tried that yet so I’m not sure if that’s possible or not
Yes, but Tune is only a CC value right now afaik. Fingers crossed it gets added in a future firmware update.
Are there midi CC specs someplace? I couldn’t find it in the manual. What CC value is for tune of each individual channel? This would motivate me to buy a Syntakt again to pair with it.
The last two pages of the printed manual show the midi implementation. If yours doesn’t I’ll take a photo.

Search for ‘MIDI CC’ in this thread and you’ll find them quick. 
I’ve been using the online manual. I found it querying this post though. If any one knows what numbers correspond to what notes for the tune CC, I’d appreciate the info.
If you stick the SD card into your computer, there’s a text file on there with all the MIDI CCs on it. Best thing is you can change them to whatever numbers you like.

Has anyone experienced one voice affecting the sound of another voice? Sometimes I’ll have one voice (track) dialed in, but then changing another voice seems to subtly affect the first one. Sometimes this happens when they have overlapping trigs, sometimes even without overlapping trigs the sound seems changed (by another voice).

Ive had this happen every now and then when adjusting one of the parameters on a voice. Also had this happen when using control all. I have reported it but I cannot consistently reproduce it. Not sure what’s going on. It doesn’t happen a lot here though.

The compressor will fuck with the overall sound if certain sounds become louder than others etc. maybe that?
He has magic mutant fingers to play that fast and sound good.

Is there a newer version of the manual than the one on the instrument page on Erica synths site. Maybe its something I don’t understand but for example the manual says for voice 4 algo 1, the parameter 1 controls envelope amount but it seems to be doing some kind of spatial thing or something in mode 1 and 2. Only in mode 3 does it seem to control envelope amount.
Is it the same for everybody else?
I read that you got a Syntakt again and it sounded like your Perkons had to go. Is that true? And if so, would you mind sharing what you didn’t like about the Perkons?
Nothing, it’s great.
It’s just a bit too big and I couldn’t really justify something so expensive in my setup.

Understandable. I just realised that all the devices i owned that cost over 1000 bucks are gone. I was always hoping that this one expensive thing would fullfill most of my musical needs. But i havent found it yet. Still gasing a bit for the Perkons…

Finally plugged a pedal on an individual out on one of the channels today. Am I missing something or does the channel volume not work anymore? Bit annoying if it doesn’t…
