İ was on ezbot discord server looking for answers this time and watched lots of messy desk had quality time with the octatrack. We could do this outage daily elektron.

checked my last week screen time and it was 9 hours on elektronauts, think will be more productive if we have this outage more often…

Did the website get hacked? Now, from an emotionally numb standpoint, this somehow no longer feels like random unscheduled server maintenance.

nah, it’s probably some ruby error that kill the web server and it needs to be restarted, my guess it’s a background job that throws some error or something like that.

maybe? but elektron pays for web hosting, so that would mean the company who is most impacted by the outage is primarily the host and then their clients. that would mean the host doesn’t really care about their clients because it’s the weekend. that doesn’t sound right. although that may just be the real world so it doesn’t have to sound right to be true…

unfortunately the reality is you kinda have to update, there are constant security patches being rolled out for pretty much everything and you have to update otherwise bots constantly try exploiting these things and that’s potentially worse then dealing with update issues.
the models are security fortress though… I think…
