Rotation lock doesn’t need to be off in order for the camera to automatically detect that you’re holding it horizontally… at least in iOS 10.

well lock is off and I hold it the right way but still get black bars!
Fixed it! Had to disable auto lock and hold in horizontal position during video recording!

so many stupid comments in this thread. Modular is what you want it to be. Its fucking modular. You build your own devices based on what you connect. It’s here to stay. Don’t hate on something just because you don’t have it. It’s like people saying Elektron is overrated before they even understand the workflow
