What if Syntakt is an all-digital Syntrx / Synthi?

Elektron briefcase synth?

Syntakt is the new digital synth beat machine that fills the gap left by machinedrum and monomachine

To be honest I have absolutly no Idea why everyone here seems so overhyped. Elektron seems to got rid of many good people. Who knows what is left. The direction they took with those model toys is awful. They blew the simple battery pack. Overbridge is still buggy after years. There is no communication with the user base.
When you look at the last Flagship Drummachine it´s ok but considering that the rytm is so damn expensive it´s not very flexbile and the Machines are not that interesting. Shure you can tweak the hell out of it but you can tweak the hell out of everything if you have a filter, a lfo with enough destinations and a sampler.
I would love to have finally a really good and flexible drum superstar but I don´t know if Elektron will bring it.

What’s wrong with the models ? I find they have a very good prices/features ratio.

Yesterday I had a blast with the model:cycles on stage. That thing is worth it for the kick alone… and then comes with a lot more.

Please Elektron, more awful like this.

Oh it is absolut acurate. Look at Euroracks Basilimus Iteritas Alter. Take the Envelope away and it has les Parameters then a rytm machine. Still it is one voice that is a hundred times more flexible.

If you could have something like the machinedrum with those complex algorythms in it then it would get interesting.

So when is the last time you tried Overbridge? Works absolutely fine here on a Mac with Catalina… just curious…

Ess was behind the Model:Cycles. You’re not making a lot of sense here. (The M:C was great, anyway.)

Because it’s fun and costs me nothing in an extremely down and depressing few years.

I don’t understand why you’re excited without evidence when you should be disappointed without evidence.

I’ve got better things to worry about. If it’s not for me, that’s less wanting for me

Ess was behind the the machines of the cycles the form factor was already finished and taken completly from the samples. the machines are ok imho. the formfactor is a pice of plastic with a little screen and pads that are so hard that you break your hand when you try to play them.

Not that I think this is related to this thread topic (or maybe it is? :stuck_out_tongue: ), but the Analog Rytm MkII has been marked as “out of stock” in the Elektron website for weeks…

one hour ago…Big Sur M1…looses connection every 5min

Don´t be personally pissed everyone here  I´m just sayin´ Elektron better lives up to this hypetrain here… because the last incarnations had flaws

You are not in all seriousness using a gif of a disabled woman to make a point here, do you? what is wrong with you…?
