I love the ER1, it’s such a fun machine. The app technically sounds the same but let’s face it, there is magic in gain-staging and being able to twiddle knobs. The sounds are really versatile and take effects really well. Whenever I fire up an ER1 I want to write some minimal house thing. 
Next up - Tanzmaus and HR-16!

Just watched Red Means Recording’s “vintage gear” review of the Machinedrum, and thought to myself “I really love the sound of it but buying one is out of the question”… happy to have found your sample pack!

I had my MD boxed up while as I was working with other pieces of gear and lacked the space. I set it back up a couple of days ago and I’ve been having an absolute blast. It still sounds so fresh and punchy. There are so many machines of so many different types, the compressor pushes things to beautiful places, the reverb is so beautiful, the delay is lo-fi and dubby, the master EQ is sick… Really the perfect drum machine.
