+Drive Identification

Nauts!

Got a rather shaky offer for a MnM MKII - where at least the box is labeled with a “+Drive” being installed.

The serial number just mentioned MnM MKII.
The seller “does not know” :grimacing:.

My question: are +Drive installations part of the serial number?

Thanks for your help

ok - please merge with this thread here (didn’t spot it before via the search function ):

They were offered as an upgrade so some units that don’t say “SFX60+” on the front bezel may still have one installed. But if it says “SFX60+” instead of just “SFX60”. But the easiest and most definitive way to tell if it has one is for the owner to go into the system settings and check if it’s a +drive.

How to:

  1. Turn it on
  2. press FUNCTION + GLOBAL to open the global menu
  3. press ENTER/YES to enter the GLOBAL MENU
  4. Scroll down to “FILE”
  5. if you see the sub menu titled “+DRIVE” like below, it has one. If this area is empty, no +DRIVE
