Very interested, will they only ever make 300 of them or is that only a first limited run?
A Dreadbox poly was the only open door I’ve left myself for re-acquiring an analog poly. “It’s ticking all the boxes”, but it’s a lot of money for an impulse buy (which it has to be at only 300 units).
Oh boy…I want this…I LOVE Dreadbox synths…but spent too much on gear these past two months and was going to lay low for a bit…but there’s only 300 of these…but it’s 2699€…but it’s Dreadbox…
Oh dang, you’re right. I was misled by the optics, thought it would be more the size of their other synths. I think this is way too big for my table and use cases. But it might be mainly unusually high but not that wide, which would be less of a problem I guess.
Let’s see if it is a one of a kind experience that just immediately blows you away. It has that kinda vibe and it would make me want to use it a lot to keep it. I trust Dreadbox to make something that’s completely its own thing at that price point.
So is this the rumored Abyss 2.0 btw? Or will we still see that?
How nice of that demo guy from Universal Audio not to warn us as he cranked that filter. Just sniggered saying ‘nice high resonance there’. Words fail me!
