Digitone 2 strange behaviour

Hello

I have done a little sketch and on the track 6 I have a percussion which change pitch and melody when I mute unmute the Track 11

Anybody had the same sort of things?

Thanks

Hi, do you have any global fx enabled on those tracks? I’m not sure it would do what you’re experiencing, but maybe something on the fx track is impacting the sound? If you do have something on there which might be influencing both, maybe listen to it completely dry and see if that behavior goes away.

It’s a strange one, I don’t know what to think tbh because I don’t think a neighbor condition should be involved between 6 and 11 so I’m not seeing too much of a correllation between those 2 tracks.

Anyways, good luck! When all else fails, contact elektron support!

edit: If this turns out to be a bug, you should also report it in the digitone II bugs thread, just to add to the available knowledge.

Voice allocation maybe?
With shared voices it is possible that a track has a sound with a pitch and a volume. Then another track steals that voice with the inherited momentary pitch and volume. With certain portamento setting it is possible to continue the new sound with the inherited pitch.
So try to allocate voices dedicated to the track with the issue instead of the dynamic (D) allocation. And turn off portamento for that track.
