Hello, I waited for the 1.02 update so that it would be more stable when I did my first big tutorial on the new Digitakt. So here it is. Digitakt Mega Tutorial. Lots of stuff in there. Music, workflow, firmware update, MIDI etc. I hope there’s something in it for you. :facepunch:t3:

My number one lesson - just watch what your doing with “FUNC + Reload” and don’t hit save by mistake :sweat::smile:

Yeah I’ve done it by mistake too. Especially since while in the recorder buffer, function+YES/NO means something different. Watch it!

Thanks! No, it does not save the updated sample list on pattern save. Not currently.

PS. Someone enlightened me that chords can now be live recorded in midi. Ha ha, Elektron told me specifically that they would add it later, so I didn’t even try this time. Will try again on Monday. That’s great news!

Ha ha… I recorded two awful tales first. And then I decided to record a completely new take, about two hours. This is that take. So it IS the director’s cut!! :wink:

I watched half the video
Super borring, very long and many things i already know

But i learned very important things
So i am very happy with it

What about a table or content with time indication (it automatically changes to a link) as a first comment will help. I did it in my lectoren with good results

Table of contents with links in the video description on YouTube. But it’s taken out of context a lot of times, so it’s not always as helpful.

Maybe very Dutch what i do here…
But 1.5 hours of steady cam tutorial… there will be a lot of people who started it and never finished it

I think its about being Dutch and being tired (made music till 5am last night and then woke up this morning at 10am with 4 streaming kids around me)

Maybe chopping it into different smaller chapters would help
