Hello, I waited for the 1.02 update so that it would be more stable when I did my first big tutorial on the new Digitakt. So here it is. Digitakt Mega Tutorial. Lots of stuff in there. Music, workflow, firmware update, MIDI etc. I hope there’s something in it for you.
My number one lesson - just watch what your doing with “FUNC + Reload” and don’t hit save by mistake
Yeah I’ve done it by mistake too. Especially since while in the recorder buffer, function+YES/NO means something different. Watch it!
Thanks, been waiting for this one!
Thx Cuckoo! I’ll take any help I can get with navigation on a new Elektron machine.
Thanks! No, it does not save the updated sample list on pattern save. Not currently.
PS. Someone enlightened me that chords can now be live recorded in midi. Ha ha, Elektron told me specifically that they would add it later, so I didn’t even try this time. Will try again on Monday. That’s great news!
Super clear and informative once again Cuckoo… you rock! Thanks for all your hard work.
maybe fanboy-ing out here but i’d really like a directors-cut and i don’t care if it’s 4 hours long…
Thanks for the awesome video cuckoo - I was a bit over-saturated on digitakt videos but ended up watching the whole thing… totally worth it
Ha ha… I recorded two awful tales first. And then I decided to record a completely new take, about two hours. This is that take. So it IS the director’s cut!!
Thanks mate! That’s overly sweet to hear!
I watched half the video
Super borring, very long and many things i already know
But i learned very important things
So i am very happy with it
What about a table or content with time indication (it automatically changes to a link) as a first comment will help. I did it in my lectoren with good results
Table of contents with links in the video description on YouTube. But it’s taken out of context a lot of times, so it’s not always as helpful.
Jeez, way to thank someone for trying to help people out
You only take a part or the answer
I also said it is helpfull
And i come with an idea…
Maybe very Dutch what i do here…
But 1.5 hours of steady cam tutorial… there will be a lot of people who started it and never finished it
Just felt like the harsh part was a bit unnecessary No big deal tho, I probably just misinterpreted the vibe, I’m doing that a lot lately
Tnx, i will change my words Next time since we are hanging around in an international area here…
I think its about being Dutch and being tired (made music till 5am last night and then woke up this morning at 10am with 4 streaming kids around me)
So here again…
Really interesting video
I learned a lot
Had problems to focus all the time
Maybe chopping it into different smaller chapters would help
Thans a lot, cockoo, i love your work
Both are right…
the digital family… have we already moved onto that ?
late night indeed
