So i bought a S-1 aira mini synth to combine with the DT2.
I connected a midi cable with adapter and am sending Midi out from the DT2 into the Midi In of the S-1
However after i set the „Trig= Out“ in the Midi settings. i am unable to send Trigger signals from the Sequencer , meaning any trigger i program does not seem to arrive at the S-1 but if i set the track into Piano mode and then play notes on the Track the S-1 responds as expected, meaning it plays any note i play.
Can you help me figure out what the reason could be why only the Sequencer Triggers dont seem to be triggering the S-1?
If you want to play and sequence the S1 from the DT set TRIG to internal. Choose the corresponding midi channel (thats the send ch) on a Track and select that track and press the trigs.
If i set the Trigger to „Int“ then not even the Piano mode works. If i set it to Ext then i can play the S-1 using the DT2 keyboard. However when i program triggers it does not work-the S-1 does not play.
If i exit Record mode after having programmed the triggers , if i hit the channel-track trigger (in this case its the last pad= 16 then it also triggers the S-1.
The only thing not working are the programmed triggers.

I have a dt 1 but presume midi settings are the same. I think youre S-1 is responding to the autochannel, which is 10 by default (check?) .
In the PORTS menu start with selecting encoder dest, trigger dest en mute dest to INT.
PORTS outport func to MIDI
Midi . OUTPUT to midi or midi+usb.
Assign a midi track, and on the SCR page press func and channel box to select the desired channel.

I checked the Green and Purple mutes. Its not muted.
Would it play at all using the Key mode if it was muted? Wondering.
My DT2 also has done some eratic behavior these days. Once a sound was double triggering
no matter what i tried. I erased all parameters. Only one specific Pad.
I erased triggers, envelopes you name it.
I then restarted the machine end it worked fine.
Today i could not for the love of God Mute or unmute tracks. I then restarted it 2 times cause after the first it still did not work. After second restart it worked fine . Dunno……
Yes. Pad 16 is sending Midi channel 16.
Roland is receiving Ch 16. I mean it is working. Everything works. Only the Triggers of the sequencer do not arrive
