Appears to happen in some Syntakt, don’t know if the cause has been pinned down but there’s a thread about it. Here, from the same thread, is a post regarding AH+FX (they seem to share the same display part):
You should probably read through the thread, there may be some relevant information because I don’t know how this relates to warranty or if there’s a known catalyst which causes the OLED banding.

Yeah, I agree it’s a little unnerving that it impacts so many units. Wish I had some better information for you, hope you can work something out though.
sorry to hear this - I bought a new AH+FX 2 weeks ago - the display flickers/flashes once at power off (but I read this can be normal due to capacitor discharge?)
Will continue to monitor
Same screen banding problem here with my 2 weeks new Analog Heat+FX

It happened to mine to. I sent it in under warranty and they replaced it. 3 months later it’s happened again.

I returned mine to the retailer (they forced me to pay for the return) and they replaced the screen. Less than two weeks later and the new screen broke. I contacted Elektron and they arranged a courier to collect the AH+ for repair. The courier never turned up. I emailed Elektron and said the courier hadn’t arrived and this might have happened because I live at house 20A and sometimes the courier goes to no 20 by mistake. I asked if they could rearrange it and make sure the courier knew to come to the right house. Elektron were totally unhelpful. I demanded a return and refund from the supplier. They collected the unit then didn’t give me a refund for well over a month. I only got them to respond to my emails by threatening to involve the police. So I won’t be buying anymore Electron gear and KMR are no longer on my list of trusted suppliers.
