Gearnews says that ASM has cut the price at least temporarily of the Hydrasynth Desktop.
Not sure if this is a Thomann only thing, a Europe only thing or more broadly. I have not seen a price drop in the USA – yet. This would line up with what DoS reported earlier. I’m a little skeptical of this report from Gearnews, but i don’t know European prices, so please cautiously check this out for yourself.

It’s $799 at Sweetwater–not sure what it was before, but that lines up pretty well with EUR 745…
Edit: Google tells me that 745 euros is actually $880!
Almost all European countries have a sales tax of about 20%. Plus in general gear tends to be more expensive in Europe than in US if you convert from $ to €.
Muziker has a voucher that brings the price of the desktop version down to 700€ btw.
EDIT: yes 745€ is a big price drop, previously it was available at >800€ only.

It worked out to be £625 GBP and I took advantage of this last week. No extra charges, taxes or courier fees so should be here any day now. Worked out to be cheaper than buying it used here on the forum. In fact it was thanks for @Stumm42 that I found out about this great deal.
And I get the VAT back it cost about £520 in total which is bloody amazing for such a powerful synth!

Good point–I hadn’t factored in VAT. The rest of the difference is probably just the inexact conversion of value from euros to dollars. So yes, basically the same price in the US.
As a guide for HS prices in the USA, regular prices are HSD $799, HSK $1299.
