I saw this on another forum and it looks really interesting. Dub echo, spring reverb, and filter plugin derived from King Tubby’s original equipment. Not sure how long the sale price lasts.

I see at various stores in the USA the Korg WaveState (aka WaveSnake) is now discounted a full $100 from the original of $800. I had posted back in November the price being down by $50.
Here’s an example from Chuck Levins.
I don’t know if this is temporary or permanent, i suspect it is more the latter.
Hopefully this is indication for a trend for the OPSIX and maybe someday the Modwave ?
don’t forget to pick up “our house”, free massive x expansion in the native access app.
Good prices on the dark version of Grandmother and Matriarch with the code. I wasn’t charged tax.
Strymon won’t sell a company their product if they offer it at a discount. The companies also are supposed to charge tax and shipping, even if they normally don’t.
HARDWARE
The Behringer Wasp is $90 lower now, so it’s right at $200 in the USA.
I saw it at Sweetwater but, it’s at other places too, like zZounds. The prices are a little higher some other places, it’s all over the map.
.I don’t know what’s up, is Behringer clearing stock preparing for something else, or is it just a sale — Behringer style. It’s an enormous amount off. Whatever it’s crazy inexpensive.
ADDED: Me being skeptical … there is apparently a bug, or some sort of issue perhaps with the filter envelope double triggering. It has been fixed, but the issue affects units with a Serial Number starting with S19. I don’t know if this is why, there might be a discount, it’s worth asking before ordering.
ADDED: Two months later. This new price is in the printed Sweetwater catalog, so i expected it to be around for a while.
In the US it is tax refund season. They need you to spend your refund money right away. More of these offers will pop up until April. Also this is the best time to pick up used gear because people will be trying to let go of gently used gear for the newest gear at agressive pricing because they want to combine their tax refund and gear sales on big gear purchases.
And some actually owe more, like those with side hustles.
SW and Behringer became exclusive business partners (as did a few other popular retailers), I imagine that has something to do with it as a good amount of their stuff on SW saw some big price drops.
Something to look for going forward too. Good deals tip jdaddyaz.
A Super Partner relationship. I know as a part of that Sweetwater is selling B guitar pedals at $19.
Do they make a Chase Bliss Mood clone, yet?
Have just seen this on synthanatomy:
Interesting, anyone used it for synths? Not much out there about it really aside from guitar demos, that I find hard to judge as it’s really not my thing
The reasons given in the article are that it is stereo and can be controlled via midi.
Other than that, not sure.
It just looks like a really good deal if you’re after a fancy delay.
i’ve watched a few videos, but there aren’t many good ones out there yet to really show it off. i’m trying to figure out if it’ll do anything that modnetic won’t. definitely intrigued by the spring reverb in combination with the the high pass filter though.
Yeah, there’s a demo version. I haven’t tried it yet as I haven’t had much time, but maybe tomorrow. I’m a huge King Tubby and dub fan, so I’d like to give the demo a shot. It sounds pretty good here:
that’s the best one i found too. i think i’m going to hold off on the demo, as it’ll probably make me want it even if i don’t need it. i may just wait for a sale in november/december, a cooling off period if you will.
i’m a big fan of that of that early dub sound too, that’s why the reverb/filter combo is really intriguing. i’ve got wires and things textures from audio thing and they’re both quality plugins, so i expect it this one to be no different.
This is a keeper
and the initial free offer was a bonus.
