But 9/10 times the rest of that sentence is a complaint about PWM

Pretty sure there was ā€œfacial recognitionā€ in another YouTubers’ video once - a meet-up with possibly Hainbach and Bobeats at a previous Superbooth or something?

As a British-English speaker, I enjoy all of the synth YouTuber’s outrageous accents - wolca, synthee-siss and vidge-o are particular favourites!

I like the fact that he keeps his face out of it.

He’s clearly doing it not as a gimmick, but as a way of keeping the focus on what he’s presenting/writing about.

His approach has always been very professional.

But open to debate

Who are you calling a clown?
Me? Loopop?

Exactly. ā€œWho gives a fuck what I look like? It’s about the gear/techniquesā€

To a degree yes, but his technical audio prowess and use of oscilloscopes as teaching/reviewing tools is pretty uniquely informative.

Could Sabana be anyone?

He doesnt show his face just his avatar and just goes through all the things he dislikes in the world one by one. A bit of subjective thought at the end but nothing special. Is he just a troll?

Also not forget, you need a lot of capital, time and money, to start reviewing new gear at a good frequency. Judging by what loopop has laying around he was already doing very well for himself.

Agreed with everyone defending Loopop’s knowledge and presentation skills… but another point that I’d like to mention is his consistent ability to use original music to illustrate functionality of a piece of gear in a non-cheesy way. I’m not going to mention any names here, but so many reviewers seem to feel the need to demonstrate an instrument in their idea of a musical context, often not everyone’s cup of tea. When Loopop does this he’s not going for some artistic vision or showing from multiple camera angles how ā€œinto itā€ he is… he’s just giving an simple example to illustrate what he just said. The ability to do that, consistently, requires humility and restraint that are rather uncommon in the YT space.

He amazes me, putting together videos like that is not easy and he bangs them out.

He’s also an excellent ā€œhand actorā€, which actually is a thing.

Just for clarification, my comment was entirely about ā€œKermit-Voiceā€ :stuck_out_tongue:

On another note, the winner of ā€œbest male youtuber voiceā€ is Techmoan for me.

I’m not sure that Ziv’s appearance or nationality is relevant to this thread.

…i’m not aware of any other big ā€œmusic tech influencersā€ that really know what they’re talking about…no fan point of view, no big wow’s, just plain and simple down to the detailed point…professional teaching and showing what u get, and what not…

if i would have something to be shown to the world, sending him a unit would be first choice…2nd would be andrew, since he’s the entertaining side of all this scene, with good and solid overall side kick know how…no matter how cheasy it gets, sometimes…

while somebody like bobeats, i’d never spent a second to think about it, since at least to me, he’s just the spoiled but aged fan kiddo, only heap to find there is his breathtaking amount of any lack of imigination while absolutely clueless at the same time…

so, no…to answer ur question…loopops are rare…

no to mention nicks sonic state, since he’s kind of the godfather of all this…

Doesn’t bother, what’s the big deal? Nothing wrong with being stout and from Israel after all.

Please spare me the knee jerk reaction.:rofl::rofl:

For example the hacking the 0-coast video are like interesting abstract art for me and at the same time pleasant to watch. ( Dune may be art but i wanted to run away the whole film) Even more I enjoy something more improvised and relaxed like adam jays st video.
