Complicated electronic music

Yeah, well apparently Sevish fans also like them

Saxophone & drum kit? Live played in a band context? No, that‘s not electronic enough for my taste. If so, I could put also some bands in here, but that‘s not what I‘m searching for.

Thanks for introducing me to Clown Core @ooli! an hour later and I’m still listening to them

My neighbor’s friend made this. Not my favorite, but fits your description.

And Squarepusher definitely fits the OP description ^^

Here are two albums with a lot of polymetric/rhythmic stuff in.

I would also recommend checking artists like don’t DJ or the label Spazio Disponibile.

Jim O’Rourke’s Steamroom stuff might fit the bill. Complex and gorgeous.
This is just a few recent faves, but it’s all worth a listen:

Also - Roland Kayn perhaps, if you want the more old/academic side. It gets pretty intense.

The newly rereleased TEKTRA is great btw.

Some of KFW’s back catalogue is worth checking - KEITH FULLERTON WHITMAN @ MEAKUSMA FESTIVAL 2019 - EUPEN BELGIUM | URSSS | mistake television

No microtonality or polyrythms but crazy patterns switchings, crazy production level, oversaturated maximalism stuff, “complicated” and user friendly :

Oh of course! Now that you say it it’s so obvious! And Grendel on sax.
The video style is obviously Cole’s.
Hadn’t recognized them!

thank you  I didn’t personally think of it as complex but considering how long it took me to make newDwns alone I guess it’s a different kind of complexity :metal:

Oh, and @Omar made me discover Zoë MacPherson’s world…

Bought myself all the albums I could find.
Especially like this one, that supports many listenings IMO:

xanopticon rules. I’ve been listening to liminal space a lot this year. Good to see I’m not the only one who remembers it.

EDIT: Oh yeah here’s some stuff.
