Chroma Console has arrived. Ordered Thursday evening after watching the Starskycarr video. It arrived here in Sweden already on Monday. I was worried about customs and so but for me it worked out with no issues - it is included when i bought the Chroma Console and the only thing i had to do was sign some online document with DHL for the customs.

Not sure if people have seen this, but there was also a firmware update in May 2025.

Might be a dumb question but am I routing this correctly by doing an return track with the Chroma Console as an external audio effect?
IIRC other pedals give the entire signal back but if I just take the outs of the Chroma Console I literally only get the sounds of the effects, without the signal I’ve put in.
I’m getting a weird doubling even tho the pedal is bypassed.

I was actually trying to buy a Fieldtone “box of uncertainty” before I ordered this, but that one sold out in 3minutes and I didn’t get one. Because I was in a purchasing mood and there was the 10% discount I decided to go for the Chroma. I’ve wanted one for a long time so… happy I’ve finally got one. Now I just hope they don’t offer a better deal on Black Friday, because I was actually already waiting to see if there was going to be a BF-deal from Hologram or not?

Sounds amazing and i have to say im a bit jelly… I can’t buy anything now for a while after getting the Tonverk but this is on my wishlist for next year and hopefully they will do a similar campaign later

I’ve been playing the CC a lot on guitar and experimenting with Fuzz. You can get some really great tone with the Tilt set darker and the amount around three o’clock. Playing on the middle strings (A-D-G), you get the thickness and heft without any of the shrill, thin, sputtery, or blown out sounds I sometimes associate with fuzz.
And I’m just now realizing you can set up an octave fuzz sound with the first two modules, which I’ll have to try this afternoon

It’s cool to see that two years in, Chromaconsole seems to be a big success. I even saw one on stage recently.
I wish they’d follow it up with another multi FX pedal that’s better suited for synths. I loved everything about CC but the selection of FX and how you can combine them always felt like it’s way better when using it with a guitar.
