Trying to get “that sound” using the Syntakt FX track…
edit: listening again there’s way too much filter resonance and movement in my attempt, back to the drawing board!

How did you get on with the digital? Do you get a satisfactory band pass filter using the digitakts 2 filters?
I never got round to trying it I’m afraid!
Cable guys Shaperbox would be go-to for these sounds, creating the rhythmic patterns and you can feed anything into it.
I think I’m getting somewhere with those ‘barkeresque’ chord stabs, on digitakt 2. pretty simple, just chop up a pad or long chord sample in grid mode, add a filter frequency lfo and mess around with the play mode lfo. Add some 808 or bass thump to give it some low end

This is dope, I would like scaler to make chords on my digitone, sample the chords on to dt. Could do this easily with overbridge I think.
Worth noting that Barker has a new album coming out called Stochastic Drift. I’m really enjoying Reframing the first track released off it and it is definitely worth highlighting in this thread, it’s lovely:

Yeah, i cant wait. He uses the syntakt and digitone alot. Track kinda sounds like the chord machine on syntakt
