Boredbrain Xcelon SL Mixer!

@boredbrain just mentioned that their studio unit do not have any pop, and of course, why to build a feature that have such an issue?, the mixer would have been already cool enough without a filter.

Damion said that this might be a faulty unit / psu and that they will look at it asap.

agree 100% I mean my other mixers like SSL Big Six, TX-6 and K-mix have none of these issues.

The TX-6 and K-mix are digital mixers with digital filters…

I know but at least no issues no pops no cracks

Xone:24C has no pops/clicks.

It’s a performance filter. On a mixer that’s dedicated to performance, I’d say it’s 100% necessary to have it.

We are working with Ryan to resolve the issue with his mixer/psu/setup. As stated, that is not normal behavior.

In the first half of this other user video, which was previously posted, you can see normal behavior using the filter ON button. 2m20s has an isolated area of bass synth only.

@boredbrain I made the video. As I stated previously I can’t hear a click/pop when there is no sound being fed to the mixer. It can be heard when playing sound though you can’t hear it in the video. I could make another video with the pop from the filter and the louder pop from the EQ switch. Other than that it is a great mixer.

Please post it when you have the time:)

Of course I can see that too, but then the on/off should be clear of any pop

Thanks Damion, would be great to have other users input too, as soon as mine arrive I will run tests and post a video with my findings, if this is a psu issue that“s an easy fix:)
