Really great looking mixer and I’ll be interested to hear more. One thing that I notice is that for a performance mixer, the controls are packed in there pretty tight. While it definitely crosses farther over into multi-purpose mixer than jellymix, I think in the sense of true performance mixer where you want to be able to use it in less-than-ideal lighting conditions it might be more prone to fat finger mistakes than the intellijel offering.
None the less, be interested to hear the dimensions and get more info (and price). Does look very appealing.
I actually don’t know, but I’ll take a stab at it. Since the XFADE switch is directly below the BALANCE knob, maybe it changes the function of that knob to fade between Mix A and Mix B. Just a guess though, no idea what it really does.
It’s next to the SC on or “sidechain on” switch so more likely it sets the sidechain bias just like how the compressor controls on the Digitakt work. It’s a very cool inclusion if that’s truly what it does.
Maybe not though, it really could be anything. I’m also just taking a stab.
Makes the same amount of sense if I’m being honest, it’s not like we designed the thing. Could easily be what you predicted but I’m fairly confident that SC on is for the sidechain.
When the blue XFADE button is engaged, the channel is configured in dual-mono mode. Both channel input signals are positioned to stereo center, and the BAL parameter acts as a mono crossfader balancing the two signal levels. Signals that do not need stereo panning can then be doubled-up on a single channel, such as kick and snare drum, two different bass sounds, etc.
Oh right, thanks. Perhaps it would be better labelled ‘MONO’ then, as it’s a common technique to collapse the width of stereo signals where you want to check mono compatiibility, or extract just one channel.

Really excited for this one! I’ll keep my xcelon to mix modular voices and the SL as my main mixer, rather than expanding the xcelon and chewing up more hp.
There are some more pictures with a bit of additional information on Synth Anatomy. This does look like a very interesting mixer, might take a bit of the Jellymix’s cake. I wonder how the pricing will turn out.
