Maybe this behringer lacks some futures of MSH, but OSC, and filter sounds better to my ears.
So, spice must flow.
“one of the cool things about the subharmonicon is that you can change its sequencer logic from OR to XOR. on the SH this is done by sending a midi message which i was kind of hoping would be an on-panel button or switch on the spice but it seems like it’s just not an option at all”
Just a quick note to mention that Spice offers the OR/XOR option using MIDI CC 113 (0-63 = OR; 64-127 = XOR) - it’s in the “Quick Start Guide” on page 41.
Can’t answer about the envelopes, I don’t have one of these yet, and the “Quick Start Guide” doesn’t say anything about that.
oh wow that’s awesome thank you
very cool (or not cool depending on your perspective lol) how they were able to replicate the firmware like that
Anyone know of a good rack to hold an Edge, a Crave and a Spice?
I see this one, but it’s unclear as to whether it would fit Crave/Edge, etc.
No. This is for the models that look like Moogs.
Etsy has a few options
This could have been put in the Moog Subharmonicon thread just as easily.
Let’s see who can refrain from the winner / loser labeling when dealing with a subjective comparison, though there are clear differences.
This video was done by Tom Noise. I queued it to the actual comparison, but go back to the beginning of the video, for other sounds and an explanation.
wow the suboscillators are pretty out of tune on the spice- i wonder if it needs time to warm up
this makes them sound very different!
I acquired Spice lately. I’ve been controlling my Neutron using the Seq 1 out and it works in C major but whenever I transpose the sequence using a keyboard, the Seq patchbay output is stuck to C major. Is there any way to transpose the sequencer output as well?
