When will people wake up to the fact Youtube is a place for tossers these days. Do they expect integrity.

These were great - I remember them new. After the Roland D2 and other garbage, it was and amazing change of pace for this sort of product.

I’m impressed with what he got out of it, but this thing definitely feels like it should stay in 2000s synthesizer hell. Those arcane Roland display glyphs are just nasty. It’s cool to see the direct lineage from this to the SH-4d, though!

Seeing this display made me wonder if I should be more accepting of the P-6 display, now considering it a nostalgic “throwback” to this golden era of Roland

If the SH-4D is just a redo of the SH-32 does that mean the Jupiter X is a SH-32 with a keyboard?

Roland are still working through their backlog of hundreds of millions of seven segment displays, from a monumental parts ordering mishap in 1998

Kinda a first for BG this week, where it’s more of a meme filled tutorial thing going on. Not going to lie, I picked up a couple of ideas and tricks

I really enjoyed this… Florian’s channel used to have tutorials and tips and tricks a bit like this, if you go back to the earliest videos on the channel there is some gold like this - but this time around he’s refined the formula so well and packed with memes and quips, very tightly produced and fast paced, like a more typical Bad Gear episode, but it’s a tutorial of tips. Really nice to see.

I’ll tell you what I would not mind a whole series of these types of vids
Pads, leads, stabs etc
