The reddit post seemed like a joke.
It’s actually moderate to high effort for that particular subreddit.
It didn’t need to call out Florian specifically (insert synthfluencer here would have worked as well), and I see it as what made the post so obviously (and deliberately) absurd, as it’s hard to get the idea that Bad Gear is selling much of anything.
That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a bit bent out of shape about it, but then again all he’s doing here is reading the post verbatim, right?

Lol, Florian seems to be amused by that post to the point, he had to make a spoken version of it in a way OP might tell it, if he actually meant it (it’s obviously just a funny conspiracy theory post).

The subtle background music makes me think that’s exactly what he’s doing. /r/synthesizercriclejerk is a shitposting sub at best, and I don’t think there’s any universe in which Florian is going to take a post like the one he read in the video seriously. There are a lot of truly mean-spirited attacks on various YouTube personalities there but I don’t think this was actually one of them.
