Yeah, Iām pretty sure heās sending address-check emails out beforehand, itās been long enough that many orders have changed theirs in the meantime.

I ordered white case / white LEDās thinking that was the safest and least likely delayed option. I really wanted the silver case though, but previously those had a lot of supplier issues and delays. Doesnāt seem to be an issue this batch. Iām tempted to ask if I can change my order.
Not really the sorta thing that gets mass produced, even if Behringer incorporates into a Murdered-Out mkii.
A moot point when logistics suck so much but even without, Castro is optimizing for his own choice and priorities. The reason why we chose to preorder was because of the myriad of existing options, the Avalon still stands out. For a lot of reasons right now his business model is inoptimal for the current interest.
Hopefully he can refine things as he goes once the initial batches of VS-1 and last of the Avalon are out the door.
I fear unless he can ship something consistently heās not going to have a business much longer. I donāt wish any harm at all to him, quite the opposite, but it stands to reason he can only survive so long like this.
Supply issues affect everyone, but thereās a stark contrast between how Abstrakt is run and say Isla Instruments. How Brad handled delays with routine updates and communication is a prime example.
Iād love to see the Avalon continue on and get new filter carts. Not too confident thatāll happen though.

Yeah I kind of assume he has a day job or takes on freelance work but maybe he is full time on the synth stuff. I kind of doubt we will see new filter carts given this is supposed to be the final run of Avalonsā¦ I suppose if he needs the cash he might open it up again. There is probably good and bad with the way he runs his company, seems to be a perfectionist when it comes to his actual designs though, which is why I want this and not some other 303 clone.

Make sure the VCA Depth (under Modulation Envelope) is at 12:00. If itās to the left of 12:00, it will drone. Otherwise as someone mentioned the VCA Decay (far upper right knob) will go longer than a stock 303 if you turn it past 3:00, but itās not infinite decay so I doubt itās that. Or it could just be a stuck note.

Always some risk involved, but likely a good time to buy overall. Youāll probably get yours in a quarter or less of the time most of us have been waiting on this last run. 
Those silver cases look dope too. I really should have ordered the silver/white combo which is what I wanted, but thought white/white was the safer and likely quickest option. Totally back fired on me.
Iām hoping the isla instruments caladan with the 303 cards will scratch this itch for me without all the drama and uncertainty and total lack of support that is abstrakt instruments. I truly canāt believe people are still willing to put in new orders with abstrakt to this day.
