Whaaat how would they taste * they look fascinating but intimidating, do they move fast? :grimacing:

  • I would never try

They’re pretty quick. And pretty much indestructible. I wouldn’t normally hurt a fly, but did have several smacks at the one that got me in my tent. Got it with my shoe a few times and it just kept doing laps

Keep that tent door closed these days, ocean breeze be damned

me neither… i like most insects but there are a few i really find disgusting and alienating… and on top the poison of many Scolopendra ranges from extremely painful to deadly. But ok, that may not count on an asian market…

:fearful:where was that?

Amazing

I was on a small macro photography trip yesterday in our nearby forest.

I even met a beekeeper on his beehive. We talked a little and he kindly gave me a beekeeper hat so I could take some pictures.

Playing with some macro photography yesterday looking for bees, but found a moth hiding among them too.

Kamikiri mushi buzzed my head this morning. Anoplophora glabripennis? Surely it’s pronounced like pennies.
