AR Analog Rytm feature request thread

∆ ∆ Those would improve the workflow so much! I think fill button could be the modifier in the step record mode to select multiple trigs one by one while fill is held.

can’t decide if this is a feature or a bug, but, the delay feedback skips values, it can skip a value by 2 points or sometimes by 3 points no matter how slow the encoder is turned.
in normal scenarios that wouldn’t be a big deal, but, if the delay is overdriven and there’s a wide enough filter the difference in 2 points can break the sound almost instantly.
would be really useful to make it either decimal or at least not skip points, almost no other parameter does that…

I just tried this and it’s definitely missing quite a few numbers out, needs fixing.

I’d like to see a higher note range for midi output, it only goes up to C5. We now have scale mode so why not? An increase in the internal pitch range for oscs and samples would be nice also if possible. How hard can it be?

that would be nuts

what’s that?

werp is the pseudo-timestretch machine on digitakt

ah, without repitching? yeah could be nice too

I really love the Rytm but I would love it even more it would have this two things

1- Second filter (digital) for the samples.
2- Second LFO.

would be truly amazing

not going to happen officially :frowning:

Performance locks offsets
This would allow to set 0-127 offset for each performance lock. The result of the positive offset would be the locked parameter change starting to take effect only when values above that offset value are being send from the performance pad.

So you could control cutoff and resonance from one pad, the cutoff being controlled on the full 0-127 range of the performance pad while the resonance would gradually increase only between 80-127 with positive 80 offset.

Negative offset -127-0 could be also interesting, setting the upper limit, so for example offset -64 would only change the locked parameter on the 0-63 range and above that, the parameter will not move further anymore.

This can be somehow done today by spreading the parameters across multiple pads and being expressive playing multiple pads at once.

At least a menu option to swap the rather useless bit crusher with a simple 2 pole variable-state filter knob (CCW=LP, Center=OFF, CW=HP)

+1 for additional song mode options (a la DTII, OT, etc)
specifically: looping a current row while in song mode

I’ve said this before, but a performance track volume mode with the knobs would be nice. For the ones that have two sounds grouped, a click of the encoder could switch back and forth.

they should just embrace the tracker structure within their sequencer tricks, imagine a function like parameter slides wouldn’t just hold a static picture of that said function but would open a Lock Screen with interchangeable functions (add, multiply, div.,bpm, seq direction etc etc.) and there would be nothing to even add to the sound core, the functions alone would provide a new way of operating.

don’t hide the tracker construction. 🫠🫨

I don’t remember this happening on my mk1?

keeps running in my mk2 as well, I do it all the time

elektron, please update for the paeds, I want cocoa smell too!

Yes, a mixer view! For performance but also for gain staging

Similarly, a pre-compressor (and pre-ext in) volume would go a loonnngggg way in gain staging

ETA: Gain Reduction meter for MKII

Being able to use the encoders to control performance mode would be great too.
