Part of my complaint about the popularity of “fantasy in a game” anime is that it seems to have demotivated anime producers from making real fantasy anime, like Vision of Escaflowne, Lodoss War, etc.
That said, there’s another “fantasy in a game” anime that I actually like:
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!
That one is more creative and unique than the usual SAO copycat

Out of the works listed in the video, LilyCAT was the only one I found still streaming. In my country, it’s on Amazon. I wasn’t a big fan of Alien or The Thing - not much of a horror fan really other than Dario Argento and Mario Bava stuff - but they say it’s good so I’ll check it out
