Good thing I don’t have room.

Me neither, so I put it on the left side.
I just have to tilt my head to play, nothing insurmountable.

This is just incredibly gorgeous.
When he demos those filters creamy filters I just died.
Would be so dreamy to sit at home and make tracks on this beast.

I have one of these where I work! I’ve not had time to work it all out yet, but my first impression was that it isn’t so far removed from the sound or function of a couple of A4s… it does sound fantastic though.

The photos of it arriving/being delivered to a 3rd floor studio in a very old building were hilarious - shame it arrived on a day I wasn’t there to lend a hand :upside_down_face:

I was wondering about this exact same thing upon watching this.
In a sense it’s kind of like 2 A4/AKs with all the parameters as hardware.
However certainly the sound of the oscillators and filters are a bit more creamy with a distinct VCO character?

Bingo. Boutique oscillators and filters are very unique. Some say creamy other times you can get agressive sounds. There’s times where you can make a harder hitting snare than 808 / 909 without thinking about it. You can get to other spots that might be a little challenging on a modern analogue.

But two A4/AKs is probably more fun to perform with.

There’s one for sale on Reverb
If I had the money I would actually buy that sucker

I’m glad I’ve left behind the time in my life when I would strongly desire to show up at an open mic night with a Colossus.

Still sounds like a cool idea, I hope someone else tries and suffers for it.

I’ll wait for the battery powered, portable Mini version.
