I think we have a good case here since a) it’s now harder to operate than before for both MK1 and MK2 users and b) the official “List Of Changes” acknowledges Rytm users using Sample Chains Analog Rytm OS 1.70 Upgrade - #72 by avantronica (as someone pointed out above)

aah, that’s what it was. I’d sold my mk1 before the update, then tried an mk2 after the update n was like slices suck on this yoke. damn.

+1 for chromatic slices or an option in settings to revert to pre 1.7 behaviour, or something similar to make slices more usable. need to be able to p-lock em🙏

even pre 1.7 the rytm “end” parameter sucked for slices vs octa / digi “length” parameter, which is relative to start point. had to p-lock both start & end on rytm.

I just picked up a mk1 AR. OS 1.7 is already installed. Do I need to do a calibration to ensure it’s all installed properly?

in general no, if it was not performed before you’d probably get a nagging message to run it, but you can still run it, can’t hurt
