Has anyone contacted technical support due to a calibration problem?
I feel you. This is a killer to me in my live setup and work flow. If I could I return back to previous firmware (downgrade) 
I Love the other updates but this PAGE LOOP ruin the live mute and unmute in breakdowns with Fills. Really really hope that this is change or be possible to turn Off this Page Loop function. Lets see if others users complain about this. Cheers

@Mapaii Could you use pages instead of fills, or do you need 64 steps + fills?
Dedicated fill patterns maybe? AR has direct pattern change, so you could use instantaneuous (direct) and quantized pattern changes (normal pattern change mode) to engage your fill patterns.

I am hoping that a function of turn on/off the PAGE LOOP function so that dont overlap the FILL function also. Because when we press Page/scale button to make FILL it open PAGE LOOP and all pads turn green and with no access to MUTE and unmute tracks options. This is very confusing in live performance. Hope that this is fixed. Cheers.

I wonder how it works with a latch Fill?
Can you latch the Fill then mute/unmute?
I’ve put in a bug report asking them if it’s possible to remap the function to TRACK+PAGE instead of it just being the PAGE button alone.
I think if enough folks put one in, it’s more likely they’ll address it.

I was wondering about that too.
I often put a bunch of different fill trigs on a track and use unmutting while holding FILL to selectively trigger them for a dubby “snatch of sound” effect, so this really gets in the way of that technique.

There is no way to swap the integer snapping behavoir on the new parameter resolution? Having integer values instead of floats is one of the things that made they rytm more immediate and very playable vs programmable, I really don’t like that I have to press down now for what I want as default behavoir.
Gonna play with it more but does anyone know if downgrading is an option?

Could be a quick fix in the meantime if it works.
[PAGE]+[CHAIN] could be a nice combo (for the hand!) to enter “page loop” mode on the mk1. I don’t think this is a used combination

In fact… it’s even simpler than that!
If you want to fill and mute/unmute:
[PAGE]+[NO] at the same time and release [NO] (keep holding the [PAGE] button)
it activates the loop mode and desactive it right away, leaving the fill active and mute/unmute accessible

I also send a bug report here in forum and to elektron. Hope that they can find a way to fix this.

They have noted the issue but waiting any sort of resolution

You’re supposed to be developing the Octatrack MkIII, not making the best groovebox in the world even frickin better.
I guess now with the Rytm SY machines sounding so damn good as synth parts, you should just go and release an update for the A4 to make it unquestionably the best drum machine in the world.
