Am I the only one? [Machinedrum love]

Dusted my Digitone after a long time - a perfect Machinedrum match!
IDM Track study for my forthcoming EP - recorded in a single take on 1010 Bluebox -
incl. Ctrl-all fun on MD (why the heck didn’t I use it before???)

Additional nostalgic super8 footage.

No external FX being used

Just lovely acidk- they mix soo so well together. Solid arrangement too - just one pattern on both?

Thanks
Two patterns on both machines (incl. conditional trigs and different polymeters on DN).

I could definitely listen to an album of this on a Sunday morning…

I am now also one who is not only…

Just sat with it for a few hours this morning, but got to say I am very entertained with just dialing in sounds from the various machines - classic mode to avoid getting sidetracked with the wealth of possibilities. Look forward to delve deeper

Thanks. Currently quite happy I chose the non-UW version, as there seems to be plenty to dig into, and came at a more competitive price point.

Just sent over the MD_presets_1_0.syx to my box. Perhaps it was always on the website and I overlooked, but it’s right there now on the md support page.

First time hearing, love how they tell a story progressively of “yeah this is drum machine” to “this is beyond a drum machine” to “this is limitless beat designing monster”.
Crazy range of sounds to be hearing in 2001.

Anyone have recommendations for carry case for the Machinedrum? I got the “Analog Cases Pulse Case for Analog Rytm” (quite the mouthful) which I am very happy with for my Rytm mkII. They don’t have for MD, but would be pleased with something similar in the MD size.
What are your experiences?

I recommend Thomann’s Producer pack for carrying 2 big Elektron or 4 Digi series.
Plenty of room, solid bag.
Use tote bags to slip the boxes in and avoid removing the glued pads underneath. And PL-2 protection lids. With this your gear stays like new whatever the bag takes.

You can also use the ones thats sold for the Octatrack. Octa and MD are same size.

This is great! Thank you. Was exactly looking for something that fits snuggly around it and its deck saver.
Oh, is it the mkI or mkII Octa ?

Both OT mk1 and mk2 are the same size as MD mk2 and MM.

The 35€ backpack I was talking about earlier fits (at the same time) an Analog mk2 and an OT-sized box with decksavers and tote bags, plus cables and alims.

I’ve used a Stagg UPC 424 with some foam custom pads for years now. It’s are a cheap pedalboard which can hold the MD and its PSU.

Did you check the potentiometer for regulating screen brightness on the board?

I had a very similar issue with my Monomachine:

Awesome set — Machinedrum through OTO Boum:

Maybe not quite my kind of music, but a nice set. And only with the Machinedrum. Respect. Does the crunch only come from the OTO? It just seems to be pattern-based and without using the song mode. As always, it looks easier than it really is in reality. Cool! The part at 24:30 got me :+1::mechanical_arm:
