man, how could I forget Patton in this context, honestly every Mr Bungle album is no filler, even the last one…

Maybe it’s not hard really to make albums with no “filler”. The concept was really from when bands didn’t have enough material or budget for recording. Most of the records posted just seem to be on the basis that the poster doesn’t dislike any of the tracks.
Patton is God-tier. So grateful I’ve had the opportunity to see Fantomas (Suspended Animation tour), Mr Bungle, and Patton and Rahzel live.

I consider a “no filler” album to be one where every track feels like it could have been a hit single (Nevermind or Is This It are pretty good examples of that sort of album) or an album that casts such a spell over you that you can’t imagine wanting to break that spell by skipping a single song. A lot of my favourite albums fall into the latter category…
Geogaddi, Spirit of Eden, Loveless, Dummy, Felt Mountain…
Last night I was listening to ‘Things We Lost In The Fire’ by Low, and that very much felt like a record that I would never want to skip a moment of.
That would only ever be possible for handful of genres or styles and would exclude the vast majority of music out there.
On the other hand this would include several albums by Modern Talking.
That is an excellent description and it includes what you said above completely.
