I wanted to confirm if I’m not missing something (using current 1.5 beta):
I’ve a bass patch created using Drift or Wavetable and I want to resample a single note of it into Drum Rack track. There’s no way to enable resampling on a pad, switch to the bass track, play the sound and go back to edit the sample, right? Instead, I have to:
create a clip with just that one bass note playing
solo the bass track
make sure to disable / bypass any master effects
resample by triggering playback
In Drum Rack track I’ve a rich sounding audio wave (e.g. a buzzy saw) that I’d like to use for bassline, but I need to shape it with the filter built-in in the Drum Sampler. If I’m not mistaken, the filter doesn’t have any envelope, right? I can only use velocity or MPE Slide to modulate a static value of the cutoff, but that’s it, no?
I actually mapped Drift to the inside rack, then the Macro 1 from inside rack to Macro 1 from outside rack.
Drift is what I wanna control anyways. So if this works… I’m game.
They should make this more simple tbh. Adding the flag in Options.txt… wrapping Drift in a certain order… bleah…

I think / hope this is coming! They recently changed how banks of controls for Drum Rack pads are changed, which suggests we might be able to move between 2+ banks in the future (despite what they give as a justification ):
Use dd/etcher to write the move recovery image to a card bigger than 64gb, boot the sd on the Move, it’ll do all of the partition expansion on first boot, and you’ll have a 128/256/512/1T move
Hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but why?. I have dumped several tons of samples on to the Move and its hardly made a dent on the device in terms of storage. However, it’s a pain in the ass to scroll and look for things on the device scrolling for stuff. There’s also the annoying local.move browser where you can only select one item at a time, so copying and downloading from the device is more clunky than it should be. Please Ableton enable multi select!!
I mean when accessing local.move. If you want to download stuff from the move, you can only download 1 at a time. Instead there should be a multi select option and choose the files you want to download to my computer. Also another scenario, going through my user recordings, I have so many files and I have to delete them 1 by 1, instead why is there no otion again for multi select so I can delete more. Hope that makes sense.
