Ableton Move: Schwung (Custom synths and FX)

See the link to the Github repo for the project in the first post in this thread.

that was the first thing I checked but the module list doesn’t seem to be there anymore, just a link to the API dev documentation not the usage docs per module where it says what files/formats to use for adding presets

Keeping the list in GitHub didn’t really make sense as now we have several other folks making modules. The best bet is the module store on device or the installer. (Or I should spin up a real page for this some time). In the meantime, you can try to read the module store catalog: move-anything/module-catalog.json at main · charlesvestal/move-anything · GitHub

Edit: there’s now a table generated at GitHub - charlesvestal/move-anything: Move Everything · GitHub

Each module has a repo and each module has in app help as well. Also the discord is here to help! Move Everything

How do you remove Move Everything?

There’s an uninstall script and the gui installer has an uninstall button

@charlesv Can I ask why not all the parameters are available on the synths, for example for Osiris - only oscillators, amp env and filter parameters are accessible. No filter env, LFOs, effect parameters etc. would be good to have full access to all synth parameters so you can design your own sounds or change effects settings etc.

because i am just one dude and didn’t implement it

Is there a specific directory that I put multisample instruments in?

Can’t you put your AI Agents to work?

Have you tried using a Virus editor?

So this is basically the new JJOS now.

No what’s that?

@awewon There’s an instruments directory in the sfz module folder. Each instrument needs its own directory.

@x0x happy to talk about my workflow sometime but it’s not QUITE as easy as just “please make synth”. Plus this project is currently a series of loosely connected experiments, some of them more developed than others. Getting the virus emulator running at all was a feat, and if people are using it there’s always room for improvement (full parameters, third party presets, etc)!

@blazzr it currently only supports the rom banks

While the presets sound amazing, I don’t really use them as I prefer to design my own sounds, so would be great to have full access to the params.

I bet @charlesv is happy to except pull requests if you put YOUR AI agents to work, and then check that they’re generating sensible code!

All feedback is welcome! I just can’t do it all fast enough! That being said, there’s a ton of things this adds that are brand new, even if not 100% fleshed out. If that additive-but-not-complete is (understandably) irritating, this project isn’t there yet.

Honestly I wouldn’t have a clue where to start, all I know is that virus emulator sounds amazing :star_struck:

I’m gasing since few days.

While I love my Move I’m thinking about adding a Bento in my set.
But why not adding a second Move with Move everything installed ?

2Move with Everything versus 1Move + 1*Bento… Why not ?

It seems to tick all the boxes except probabilities per step.

I stopped following ME development like a month ago and came back to this thread with my mind blown! Seriously impressive work and all for the community with no kick back deserves a standing ovation :clap::clap:

Oh, and if anyone can figure out how to unlock all the Virus parameters that would be amazing beyond belief
