More and more like the Deluge, indeed ![]()
Lazy chop is in this morning’s release ![]()
Just in case you were not aware… this is fkn awesome and you rock!
Oh wow! Can we then sequence the slices? Or is it more like a « preparation » module?
The lazy chop is part of the wave edit tool - you can then export the slices to a drum rack, or sliced waves, or a rex file
To be clear, I hope you’re joking – there are no donation links anywhere in here ![]()
I am not accepting donations or tips for this either way: if you want to give, donate to your local food bank, and vote against your local fascist.
Just making sure nobody’s gone and hacked my github ![]()
This!!
You made my day. Thank you again.
@charlesv in the deluge community firmware they have added a settings page where you can toggle off the additional features you don’t want. Have you thought about adding that? There’s a few things you added I’d be interested in having on my Move but a lot of it I see as additional bloat I wouldn’t want.
There is a Move Everything settings (Shift+Vol+Step2), and some things can be disabled, but in general, no, I’m not planning to make every feature configurable. Sorry you see a lot of it as bloat, but most all of it designed to work together.
I didn’t mean bloat in a negative sense. Sorry if it came across like that. It was probably the wrong word. I just thought it’d be nice if you could hide what you don’t use.
There is a “screen reader only” mode for folks that just want that since it’s an unlocking feature, but everything else is kind of… connected. You can turn off shortcuts so it all works as stock if you want, though, and the system puts all the threads to sleep if you’re not using the synth channels, can turn off link audio processing etc.
I just wanted to say I really appreciate your work and your dancing videos! We need more people like you in the world right now!
Want to echo how much I appreciate your work as well. I don’t have a move and probably never will, but it’s awesome to see someone do so much for the community here. Amazing product, if I had a move I’d definitely be all over it.
Added a fun typing method for the Webstream player and other text entry. Feels really natural!
@charlesv was just playing around slicing a break sample up using lazy chop in the sample editor, works nice and quick once I figured out the buttons, IMO much nicer than the existing native functionality to try and achieve the same ![]()
I was able to load and chop up a break adjusting individual slices start points along the way and then save it as a drum preset for later loading. So far so good. but this still takes up a whole drum track…
Was then hoping to access the samples themselves outside the generated preset so I could load some (not all) of the samples to a new drum program. I then did ‘save slices as slices’ action but it gives me a message “export failed”. I checked and it does create a folder of the same name as the sample but no slice files are created within it.
I tried with a couple of files and neither would export the individual sliced wav files. (they did however work to slice and save as a drum preset)
@charlesv Would it be possible to move the Move Everything folder with the stems, resample and skipback to the Recordings folder instead of the Samples? Makes more sense to have them there since 2/3 are recordings folders.
Would also be good with visual confirmation for saved slices, drum preset and rex loop in wave editor. Thanks!
I’ve fixed a few multisample bugs including these - they should all be usable in the latest release!
Also pushed an SFZ player to play multisampled instruments, and an auto-multi-sampler to capture hardware (or iOS synths over a single usb-c cable!).
works great! amazing work! ![]()
was looking around on the github page trying to find where it says what kind of preset files are needed for each module but I can’t seem to find it anymore, i must be missing something obvious but would you be able to relink it?
EDIT: AFAICT the list of modules and hyperlinks to their individual documentation is no longer on the main github page but I do see that when clicking the ‘read more’ hyperlink for the ‘manage files’ button on the installer still links to the individual pages (e.g. the page for Osirus)
