Asking here as I suspect its looked at a bit more than the Ableton 11 thread at the moment.
I’ve just build a selector rack, with lots of synth samples. I want to control the macro’s with the CC channels in the Seqund Sequencer. Can I assign Macro’s CC numbers? If so, how do I do it?

Live 12 licenses seem to be starting to go out to people today.

Same. Still showing as Live 11 in the account. I wasn’t expecting it, so I’ll check back later/tomorrow. Maybe their system is automated with the emails maybe?
don’t think so, according to the Account page it’s still not available, this appeared after I paid next to the 11 download:
btw, people who did the Beta before, do I need to uninstall it after the live version drops or I just overwrite it?
I mean, I don’t need the extra app but I’ve made some racks and presets and don’t want them to get lots in the transition…
It’s a different app altogether. (at least that was the case with 11) They exist side by side but do pull from the same presets/racks etc so you should be ok.

I thought I read somewhere that it might stop working at some point, but I will delete the beta then install the final version, before I start transferring things over from 11.
yeah I guess I can do that too, I’ve invested some time in building some templates and racks in the beta but I guess worst case scenario I’ll rebuild them…
I believe it’s a good idea to make a back up of your user library first just in case.
Live 12 isn’t launched until tomorrow, we will all get it at the same time tomorrow (and crash the servers)
Hell yeah, I’ve had a blast with these Live 12 betas, I’m excited it’s finally out !
And also, a tiny little bit disappointed because no midi tools implemented to the Push 2/3 yet. I hope it’s just a matter of time.

Anyone know if there won’t be any issues keeping 11 installed next to 12? Got some clients on 11 and will need to send projects back and forth so I’ll need to use 11 as well as 12.
I have 11 and 12(beta) which works fine. Will gladly check when 12 (non-beta) drops tomorrow
