A4 Neighbor : how to not hear the neighbor track?

Not sure if it’s possible, here’s an example of what I tried without success :

T1 has just one long trigger. There is a slow filter envelope that makes a sweep.
T2 has only the OSC2 enabled, listening to the Neighbor (T1).
I want to use T2 only to “gate” T1. But I don’t want to hear T1.

If I mute T1, then the filter sweep is not triggered.
Am I being stupid ?

EDIT : my mind always goes in circles…Gating a track with another track?

…i’m confused…i’m only used to the concept and term of a “neighbour” track on the ot…

but ok, i never used the a4 in any poly attempts…maybe that’s why…

Does it work if you turn the level of T1 down?

That’s perfect, thanks !

Yeah, mutes apply to note triggers rather than output. This enables some performance tricks!
