Does anyone know if the A4mk2 with a keyboard will ever be released?
It’s really anyone’s guess. While Elektron machines with keys are lovely, I think that historically they don’t sell very well (and probably cost a fortune to manufacture). In all instances, the desktop module remains after the keyboard version is discontinued - monomachine keys, digitone keys, and A4 keys AKA Analog keys.
I’m thinking if Elektron is currently doing things like releasing limited edition faceplates and upgraded analog heat models (while there is absolutely nothing wrong with this strategy) it’s more than likely that moving backwards and investing the resources in a physical release of a keyboard model on a mk2 product is probably unlikely.
It’s not impossible, no one really knows, but in truth it is unlikely.
