I completely agree with this post.
My Dreadbox Erebus is one big sweet spot. The A4 is not. And if I approach the A4 with that expectation, it will disappoint (which it did originally). However, once I understood that the sound has to be designed & sculpted with the A4, I found ways to unleash its analog beauty and now it’s my favourite synth I own. It’s versatility and unique sound are just awesome.
