5 Octave Keyboard Standard Tuning

Seems tuning standards related to midi is a recurring topic. Is there a definitive thread to refer to ? Perhaps one of these ?

Help: Digitakt with 88-key Controller

Newb here, looking for some help. I’m sure this is straightforward but I can’t seem to sort it out. I searched the forum but couldn’t really seem to find an answer. Octatrack midi sending wrong note?

So I have a sequence programmed in the Octatrack and I’m sequencing a drumrack in Ableton. Strangest thing is that when I program a note for example C1, the OT sends out a different note (in this case D1). What could be the reason for this? I’ve turned off the arp and LFO’s and any CC messages. I loaded a new clean project and so on. I’m stumped. No idea why the midi note is different between the OT and Ableton. Any ideas?

I’ve been trying to understand and fix this for a couple of days now… I want to control the DT with my Midibox Seq V4+. This only controls external drums via note, and not instrument per channel. So… I get my trusty Retrokits RK-002 and use the 16 Zone firmware on it to translate a series of notes into midi channels.
