I’m a little confused by all this…
So just to clarify… the FX on our projects, regardless of if we update now for the beta or down the track with the official OB release, will be changed/“wrecked”/out of balance, yes?
Also… doesn’t this mean that all those sample packs released for RYTM with their performance macros etc are now “broken”?
Will Elektron be releasing updated project files to “fix” this or is the expectation on us to go through every single pattern and fix it ourselves?
Also, are there any indications of other features/parameters that might encounter these sorts of issues so we can use our machines with a little more foresight in the meantime?
be corrected transparently as it’s a simple flip that’s required ?[/quote]
That will be known when it is fixed, sorry. I only have the insight and information given to me by the R&D. I rather want these kinds of questions directly to support where it can be documented since I do not watch or read all the threads here on the forum.
I have upcoming gigs and I was relying heavily on it.
Unfortunately Elektron do not offer replacement units, bummer.
Don’t know if the issue is OB related, I did have the 1.21 rc firmware running.
I couldn’t even do a full backup as I wasn’t able to change projects.
On some patterns, when CH and OH track unmuted, if there is a OH trig just on the step before a CH trig, the CH trig volume gets very loud ! In common language, when CH cuts OH, CH plays very very loud.
I’m not sure it’s problem of volume, or filter env or other, but CH attack gets much louder.
It happens even with very short OH sound decay (synth and amp), I mean no overlaping.
Worst, even with OH amp volume at zero, the CH sound gets altered.
Tried to clear sound, track, and start from scratch on the two tracks, but the same.
I upgraded for overbridge recording and new fx levels, but this is unusable now. Is it safe to downgrade to last OS ?
As I said before in this thread, please report this to Support. It’s the only way it will get noticed. I have not been able to recreate this so let us not assume it’s a bug before it can be replicated and has been confirmed. There is a difference in sound depending on when and how you are triggering the voices, that is part of the analog nature of the machine.
I am interested in this as well. I have not installed OB yet, and I am waiting until the sample tuning issue has been resolved to do so. Really hoping this “preview off” bug gets resolved as well - assuming it is really a bug.
Since Elektron has stressed the need to file support tickets to report bugs, has this one been filed?
