1.02D is, for the end user, exactly the same as 1.02F - so say Elektron !
Anyone know if these issues were resolved in the 1.0 release? I did not see anything in the release notes. Thanks in advance.
With the new OS (1.21 not RC) you can monitor your perf macro while editing it. This is great !
i had trouble with the lights in Perf mode and this was corrected as well.
Thanks for the confirmation. Any issues with sample pitches as reported earlier in this thread? Thanks!
Simon, has the scene/perf preview been fixed with the 1.0 release?
Sample pitch is fixed, FX levels are back to previous setting, Bass Tom also back to previous setting. Needs some more tweaks and better implementations before we roll them out in stable OS versions.
In other words: You don’t have to adjust older Patterns, Sounds and Kits.
Scene/Perf preview - sorry, I don’t know actually. I haven’t personally been involved in that, but I do know that it has been reported by us (support)
Now… I deserve a long and relaxing weekend.
As I said above, Pref preview while editing is fixed, I tested it tonight.
I hadn’t noticed there was such pb with Scene.
Wait. What?? Why??
So instead of having the improved FX volume, it’s going to be reverted to it’s flawed state again?? I’ve been making beats with the beta OS and I prefer how the reverb sounds with it. This is dumb.
I’ve been happy with the Bass Tom on this OS too. Please keep all improvements, and keep adding more. My only complaint is the LACK of improvements in the course of over a year.

FX level fix is nice but it needs to be implemented differently in the stabile OS. Sorry for being repetitive but please do not use the beta for production.
Olle, do you think that the FX level will be increased back sometime soon? I thought it was a great improvement. But I have to say, I’m happy that the Bass Tom is back. The change in the transient was really strange to my ears.
Please being back the new FX levels! It’s soo much better.
Noooooooooooooooooooooo.
can you please update to the “new” fx and bass tom again? this update/downdate process is quite frustrating…
otherwise overbridge is fantastic work. thank you very much.

How do expect people to test the beta without creating new work? A public beta should be used for final bug testing, not dropping major changes and then withdrawing them. This particularly true with firmware. Do you expect us to just abandon ideas created with the beta? I imagine it has be revoked because it has broken all those lame sample packs you guys keep pushing.
I really wish you would sort out all the bugs on the rytm instead of perfecting overbridge.
Are the effects changed in the latest beta. `i would like to continue using the fixed effects with hopefully the perfomance mode working properly again.
I’m guessing the new FX levels will come back to the “official” OS’s quite soon… I for one appreciate the way Elektron handled this. Now I can use OB to track everything I’ve made prior to the updated FX levels. How many hours of new stuff did you manage to mak e with the new FX levels anyhow? Compared to the amount of stuff you made with the old FX levels / BT tuning? I would imagine the latter being the bigger number here…
Not really. I have a back-ups of my work from a few weeks ago and since then I have tweaked everything I have, to work with the new effects settings to make them listenable to i.e. not smothered in reverb and delay with all the performances and scenes adjusted also…
If I revert to my back-ups, I will lose a lot of work and continue with the knowledge that it will all be broken again if/when they add the fix once more. The really irritating thing is that it was released like this a year ago and left in a broken state for all this time whilst overbridge development has taken priority.
Electron: Fix the effects and leave them fixed please.
+1
Hint: Maybe you can have the change without adjusting your old patterns pre beta if everything works out well…
Hint: That’s basically the only way you can redeem yourselves from this PR mistake

Didn’t bother me, but will be happy to get the enhanced levels back soon, now that we’re all cracking on with sound design with the new UI
.
- is this fix just going to auto-adjust kits/sounds or will it work on p-locked patterns. rhetorical q

I think the release notes should reflect these small changes to tom noise/levels etc if they don’t already - users who don’t happen upon these threads will be in the dark about this fx saga
If the new levels are coming back in a later release with a compatibility switch, like with the updated filter resonance in the A4, then I’m happy.
Personally, I think it’s unnecessary though. The effects are now louder in the (yes, lame) soundpacks. So what.
I was just afraid that because of 2 people who complained the idea of updating the effects was scrapped and they will never return. In this case I’d have to use the beta forever.
