Is bento basically blackbox2 be it buggy right now ? Or does black box still have a place
What is buggy with the blackbox? I have not noticed anything.
The only bug I get occasionally is the infamous âError with Recordingâ message where a (usually long) recording craps out. The fix is to reformat my card but as moving tons of data around to do this takes ages I usually just keep an eye out for the message, immediately stop recording and see how much is usable. I donât rely on my Blackboxes so much these days for long, unsynced recordings but use one of my Zooms instead. Theyâre still wonderful! Would still love to see a couple of last updates (one of which Steve said heâd do but has probably forgotten) but if these never happen, mine are still woven into the fabric of my studio for the foreseeble future.

I just purchased a used BlackBox and it is missing the factory presets. I made an account on the 1010 forum and have tried to use the link provided for factory presets, but it leads to a broken page.
Can anyone provide guidance on how to get the presets? Will they return if I do a firmware update? I really want to fix this issue so I can commence to jamming!

I donât know but I have a very vague recollection of having to wait for the forum account approval for something.
Iâm pretty sure the firmware and factory content are separate things, generally.
But donât let that stop you in the meantime, just sample some stuff into it and start having fun. Multisample another synth, grab some audio from youtube etc

Luckily for our brains, Blackbox can only have 2048 slices per preset but that should be really enough 
Yea, as I listened, I thought ⊠hmmm 128 x 16 is not 1,000,000 
It just shows that 16x128 is really a lot chops, sometimes I wonder what to do with more than 4.
