A 1 octave keyboard, what a dig :laughing:

in the 90s… i saw a recording of a live show of the Roots and the bassist was playing a 1 string bass.

A single octave keyboard is a joke for a production tool but a single string guitar is cool because it’s a stage act. Makes me think they are out of their minds and I want to hear it.

You should definitely seek out that jacket and post a pic of you wearing it.

And a picture of a disco ball

Could also be the disco ball admiring its own magnificence in the mirror. Who needs more than a one octave keyboard if you’ve got a such a posh room like that?

…and a “this thing” :neutral_face:

Everyone needs a piece of crap on the table as a reminder to prevent the snare from sounding like shit. It’s an old production strategy that goes back to Brian Eno or something.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I finally got time to rewire the studio. I’ve decided to reunite everything again so that any Machine is accessible at any time.

New Synths (Grind and DN II) have passed the test, they are now permanent in the room. Also, with its 16 Voice polyphony per MIDI Track, the DN II became the centre of my setup.

Now, it’s time for Templates.

Nice. I actually do have a disco ball in my studio and I would totally rock that ridiculous jacket.

Yes, it’s full of surprises! As an example, in the Speech model, I’ve found a guitar-ish sound. Oh, and it sounds very very good!
