They are Mono Pre-amps.
I highly recommend getting one of those wooden palm rests for the keychron keyboard, recently I tried using my keyboard without it after using it for a while and itâs shocking how uncomfortable is typing without it lol
Good advice, cheers.
Was just thinking about this sort of thing the other day.
what racks are these? That slimmer one looks really convenient and space saving - is it hard to access the top level though?
One of these Jaspers
Top shelf Octatrack is fine for me, but I am quite tall.
Reminds me of my old Elektron setup.
Thatâs why I like this thread, it gives you ideas you never thought of and it gives you a visual.
there are also actual rack-mountable shelves to secure your Digi boxes to:

home office setup for autumn 2024
It took a few years, many diy prototype constructions, and many re-organizations and re-integrations of the hoard of gear that has been coming in every other month.
That time was predominantly characterized by the related un-availability of both inner and outer space for actually making playing synths and writing music noticably significant parts of my life.
Intentions are:
⢠build habit of daily music writing work breaks
⢠create and record finished grooves
⢠become proficient A4 synth programmer Isn't the Analog Four the most incredible and deep instrument from Elektron so far?
⢠explore and create workflows and use cases for OXI & Torso sequencers, including CV in/out
⢠Circuit might be replaced / extended with some other groovebox
*never before had I merged home office desk and music to a such extend
f*ck that setup. get outside! look at that view, itâs incredible!
looks like youâre about 10 feet away from the best blunt of your life.
I love the utility of this but that looks awful
pretty spot on, i was ten minutes past a fairly solid joint at that point, loading a bowl as we speak
you know it, loading up some chord samples to take these suckers to the beach!!
Finally could move my desk out of the way so I could set up most of my drums next to my little electronic drum set up and my wannabe Jaspers stand of gear.
Now I need better lighting and a decent camera.
I bet your neighbors love you
If you are fine with âonlyâ 2D.
I use Figma (free) and just decide that 1px is 1mm IRL.
If I have a floor plan I add the image and resize it so that it matches the 1-1 rule by matching the printed scale to a 1000px line/rectangle.
Once itâs mapped, youâre good to go and add and move stuff around by just adding rectangles and add the size by entering the pixel values
I have a âneighborâ (a few houses down) who built a concrete platform in his backyard. He practices his drums thereâŚ
