Are you a fan of Metalheadz by any chance?
A shambles:
Nothing is cabled, and it would appear that I have to get creative, or do some construction. However, I’ve been doing other home renovations, turning a garage into an apartment, and other such things, so I’m not sure I have the drive to build anything in the studio right now. I suppose getting some cables plugged in will at least get me moving for a bit. Though I won’t be using everything at the same time for a bit.
Gosh… That DNK…
Every time i see a Digitone Keys I kick myself for selling mine. Lesson to the young: Do NOT impulse sell gear.
I kicked myself twice for selling both of my brand new ones. I was lucky to find a used one now that was in perfect condition for a decent price. The prices are starting to creep up a bit, though still relatively reasonable. I will not kick myself a third time. Even if I have to trick myself by putting it in a box and hiding it for a while, until I realize I miss it again.
Well, at least one of your prior ones is still in good hands!
Glad to hear it! It’s an incredible synth!
The Novation Peak is a new addition to my set-up. Add that to the DT/DN e25 combo (which look too good together to make me want to upgrade to DT2), a TR-8S, and its best friend-o SE-3X in its fancy livery.
Nice space!
Those e25s look fantastic paired with the wood stand/cheeks.
And I I didn’t realise how big the TR8S actually is, looks huge in this pic.
Yeah, I was really pleased with the way the silver face looks with that shade of wood and both together joined as one unit. The stand is from etsy and was a bit disappointing w/r/t quality, but once they’re in there you don’t really notice.
the TR-S is a big strong boy.
Just commenting here, but having owned one for many years, it is a good size, but I think it looks bigger in the picture because of optical distortion towards the side of the frame.
Love the poster in the back btw.
What or who is the direct phone line to?
Rick Beato.
Thought the same! And yes, TR8-S looks way bigger than it is in the photo, although it’s of course bigger than a digi.
Put away some stuff I’m not currently using (like the OT) to get a more focussed setup. Oh and took delivery of a Take 5, which is instant love
I did some reorganizing. DJ controller is now not on my desk anymore since I do it only for fun when I feel like it.
But now all my semi-modulars are on the desk and ready to use more frequently.
I still need to figure out a better audio interface setup so I everything will be hooked up at all times. But that’s for later…
